Victor Linford (1940-2002) was not only a great painter of
a fantastic world, but also a great human being, widely beloved
in his lifetime and deeply mourned after his sudden death.

In March 2004, friends and relatives have set up a strictly
non-profit Foundation to register, preserve, and exhibit his
huge artistic inheritance. The first public event was a large
retrospective display of Linford's work in the spring of 2005.
Consecutive shows were combined with the work of young artists
in the same culture field, who were selected and supported
by the Foundation.
