NEWS LETTER nr.3 - October, 2005
After our summer recess, it's about time to let you know what's new on the VLF front !
1. Our first exhibition (Homage to Victor Linford) of May-June has been very successful:
hundreds of visitors who were not only interested in Victor Linford's art, but who also
bought a substantial amount of the DVD-special about his life and work.
If you couldn't lay hands yet on this electronic masterpiece: Order it now ! (incl.English subs)
Price: Euro 21,75 incl. postage, payable to IBAN NL07 0004 3396 74, of
"Stichting Victor Linford (DVD VL)". You will receive your copy by returning mail.
2. Our exhibition brochure (which many of you have ordered a while ago) will be
distributed this month.
3. NEW BUSINESS
Organizing Victor Linford exhibitions is one of the Foundation's main goals, of course.
We're currently working on a second big show in the fall of 2006 - another Big Vic
retrospective, probably with one or more works put up for sale.
4. We're also working on smaller, thematical interim exhibitions in combination with work
by young promising artists in the same genre. Two candidates have been selected recently,
and before long we'll publicize their names, plus examples of their art, on our website
www.victorlinford.org , and in our next News Letter.
5. A MESSAGE FROM OUR TREASURER
As we suggested earlier: anyone else in your own circles who's interested in Victor
Linford's life and art, is kindly invited to join the VLF (through our website, by e-mail
or regular mail).
6. Many thanks again to our kind members who provided one or more works from their own
collection for our first exhibition; many thanks also to our volunteering friends who
assisted in organizing the show ! And we're still most grateful to Mr. & Mrs. Van Delft,
the enthousiastic art pros who kindly opened the doors of their Delta Gallery to let us
all in !
